The objective of the workshop is to provide a platform for the participants to learn and share knowledge and experiences through the presentation of research papers, panel discussions, and one-on-one or group meetings. While, on the one hand, participants will be exposed to new theoretical developments in the field, on the other hand, they will be exposed to practical applications of theories thro

ugh real-life examples and case studies. Since the workshop will be a congregation of academicians and practitioners from industry/R&D organizations, both theories and practices of optimization techniques will be covered during the course of the workshop.

Day 5: OTSEMP-2016

The final day of OTSEMP-2016 witnessed some great guest lectures by Dr. S.P. Singh, DMS, IIT Delhi, Dr. Abhijit Majumdar, DMS, IIT Delhi and Dr. Sunil Agrawal, IIITDM Jabalpur. The valedictory ceremony was held after the guest lectures. A Bhedhaghat trip was organised for the partcipants, which they fully enjoyed and showed their interest for similar workshops in the future.
IIITDM Jabalpur wishes all the workshop's particpants, bright and successful careers.

The 4th day of OTSEMP-2016 (March 5 ) saw guest lectures by Mr. S.P. Yadav, Retd. G.M., G.C.F. Jabalpur, Mr. Rajeev Jain, KNPC Jabalpur, Ms. Arunima Guha, Sr. Consultant, Ernst & Young and Dr. R.M. Vikas, Faculty, IRMA. Dr. M. Bansal took a session on LINGO sofware as well.

The 3rd day of OTSEMP-2016 witnessed some great lectures by Prof. Kripa Shankar, IIT Kanpur and Prof. M.K.Tiwari, IIT Kharagpur. There was a panel discussion too, on the topic- Achieving Excellence in Manufacturing.

Day 1: OTSEMP-2016

The first day of the OTSEMP-2016 saw an exciting Inaugral Ceremony with Mr. Sudhir K. Mishra, CEO, BrahMos Aerospace, as the chief guest. Dr. Kotaharinarayan, Dr. P.K. Jain and Dr. Sunil Agrawal were the other dignitaries on the dias. Dr. Sunil Agrawal took a pre-workshop session as well. Participants from various institutes from all over the country took part in the workshop.
