Reach Jaisalmer, Sam Dunes and Safari
Jaisalmer is around 42km from and will take us around 45 mint to reach. We will be reaching by Noon.
Check in to the campsite and relax for a while. Later we go for a camel ride and jeep safari. Post sunset we return to the campsite for Folk Dance, Cultural shows, Bonfire and tea/coffee with snacks.
Followed by dinner. Overnight stay at the campsite. Most of the nights in Jaisalmer are clear skies, so it will be a good starry show.

Day 1

The camel safari departs at around 1:30 PM from Jaisalmer by jeep .
On the way to the dunes, you will visit Khaba and a natural oasis.
You’ll receive a warm welcome by friendly guides and healthy camels.
You will be allotted one camel per person for a 90 minute ride within the desert.
Stop at the dunes, marvel at the beautiful sunset, and savour the taste of delicious snacks.
Then you will witness a mesmerizing traditional cultural program along with a special Dinner (pure vegetarian meals).
After dinner, witness the colorful fireworks in the open night sky.
Later, sleep under the stars in a warm and a cozy bedding.
Day 2

Next morning, wake up to a beautiful sunrise.

An amazing sunrise at Gadisar Lake in Jaisalmer ✨ Jaisalmer wasn't on our original itinerary as it's quite far away from the other cities in Rajasthan, we either had to take a very long drive or a couple of flights, but we're so glad we didn't skip it! The Golden City was extremely different than anywhere else we visited in India, the sandstone streets made us feel like we were in an Arabian Nights movie. Gadisar Lake is one of the main attractions in Jaisalmer and you'll see lots of couples and groups of friends here catching the sunset. Jaisalmer itself isn't very busy, as it only has a population of approximately 80,000 people, with much fewer tourists given its location. It was a very welcome break from all the normal chaos of India, however the crowds of people were replaced by crowds of cows! We probably saw more cows than humans!
