Inspired by our thriving collection of diverse plants, we welcomed a new addition to our premises: a sacred tea tree. This revered plant has been our steadfast companion for decades, nurturing us and supporting countless families who depend on it.

As I carefully planted the tea tree sapling, I felt a profound connection to the land and the generations of devoted caretakers who had tended to these sacred plants before me. With each gentle pat of the soil around the sapling's roots, I offered a silent prayer, asking the earth to bless and sustain this young tea tree, just as it had done for so many others.

In this serene moment, I felt a deep sense of gratitude and unity with nature, honoring the sacred bond between humans, plants, and the earth.

"Brewing up a bird watcher's paradise- one cup at a time"

Our most favourite time of the year definitely goes to Bird watching in the months of November to February. This year the sightings have been rarer but definitely not less fascinating. The experts may trivialise some of these photos as common - yet for us city folks, a few days in the quiet of the country is all the therapy one needs.

The birds have been named by my expert boatsmen, who was amused at my starry eyed wonder. Ek aur round didi? he asked me when he saw the strains of budding birder.
My clumsy fingers were too slow to catch pictures of the turquoise coloured Kingfisher and the mauve coloured purple Heron.

So much beauty in nature, if only we have the eyes to see.

Spotted a bunch of hornbills as my car sped by the forest and made the driver come to a sudden halt. They were sitting on the forest floor, probably discussing lunch. A very clumsy me fumbling with my phone camera and trying to breathe as quietly as possible, tried to catch a glimpse of them. They flew away as soon as I tried to get better shots. Alas! only one of them was curious enough to stay on the branch, probably keeping a watch for the rest of his fam!. Its an Oriental Pied Hornbill!

A personal anecdote.

Every once in a while I get a call, or sometimes my inbox is full of messages from "bloggers" , "vloggers" , "channels" , "you tubers" ,"food pros" to "promote" my property. I too get swayed by the glitz of social media, doctored pictures and exaggerated experiences - Of perhaps some place being better than here and the sun always shining brightly.

However, one thing I have learnt is that if your product is good, the customer always comes. And, in my business- if the service is good, the space well maintained, the food delicious and the whole experience is one of genuine effort, it does pay its rewards.

The brand is hence created by a Consistent, Conscious and Collective effort (yes I paid attention in Business School too!) .

So, "no thanks" to my creative bloggers. (I may have offended many by this).
