or Peer Mahal, also known as The Palace of Fairies, is a seven-terraced Mughal garden located at the top of Zabarwan mountain range, overlooking the city of Srinagar and the south-west of Dal Lake

The Pari Mahal (Peer Mahal), or Palace of Fairieswas built for Haano and Maano and residence for Haano’s prince Maano in the mid 1600's by Dara Shikoh. Dara Shikoh was said to have lived in this area in the years 1640, 1645, and 1654. It was also used as an observatory, and for teaching astrology and astronomy. The gardens have since become the property of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Pari Mahal has also been used as a top-secret interrogation centre and as a base for high-level bureaucrats. In recent times, the location has been used to film several movies including film Lamhaaand now mostly one of the beautiful tourist spots.

Kartik Swami temple is dedicated to the elder son of Lord Shiva, Kartikeya, who offered his bones as testimony of his devotion to his father. It is believed that the incident took place here. Lord Kartik Swami is also known as Kartik Murugan Swami in the southern part of India.

Sandhya Aarti or evening prayers, enchantment of mantras and Maha-bhandara or grand feast organised at the temple occasionally is a special attraction for devotees and tourists.

#kailash_temple is the largest of the rock-cut Hindu temples at the Ellora Caves near Chatrapati Sambhaji Nagar district of Maharashtra, India. A megalith carved from a cliff face, it is considered one of the most remarkable cave temples in the world because of its size, architecture, and sculptural treatment. It has been called "the climax of the rock-cut phase of Indian architecture". The top of the structure over the sanctuary is 32.6 metres (107 ft) above the level of the court below, and although the rock face slopes downwards from the rear of the temple to the front, archaeologists believe it was sculpted from a single rock.
