Day 3-27th April - Gorakhpur to Lucknow via Ayodhya

The most awaited day started today. From Gorakhpur we left to Lucknow and in between we stopped and had darshan at Ram Mandir and Hanuman Gadhi, Ayodhya.

"Dream came true "

Ayodhya is in the top priority list for travellers.
The City is developing.
The Temples first phase or the main temple is complete phase 2 & 3 would also be completing soon.

Ayodhya is not just spiritual but it is historical also.

Ayodhya and Faizabad are twin Cities with hardly distance of 7-8 kms. Many unknown freedom fighters belongs to Faizabad.

Continuing from day before's post.

Day 2-26th April - Evening Session - Visit to Baba Gorakhnath Math/Temple, Gorakhpur

Post visit to the museum we visited the most awaited and must visit place of Gorakhpur Baba Gorakhnath Math/Temple.

The city was named after Baba Gorakhnath Ji who's considering as the founder of Nath Sampradaya.

This temple or Math is also the residence to the current Cheif Minister of Uttar Pradesh Honb'l Yogi Aditya Nath.

The temple complex has the a Big Temple dedicated to Baba Gorakhnath and his followers.

A life-size idol of Baba Gorakhnath is in worshiped daily.

Around the main temple there are smalls temples of various hindu deties also.

A Light and Sound Show or Fountain Show also happens daily at around 7PM which depicts the history of Gorakhnath Ji and Nath Sampradaya.

Post this light and sound show we were taken to the bhojanashaala where dinner/Prasad was hosted specially for all the delegates by the Honb'l CM.

This temple is must visit place when you are in Gorakhpur.

Day 2- 26th April -Evening Session - Visit to Govt Buddha Museum, Gorakhpur

The morning session was like yesterday only B2B Networking session and meeting vendors.

In evening the authorities took us for local visit to Govt Buddha Museum Gorakhpur. Located on Taramandal Road.

This museum is an archaeological museum where the idols of Buddha and Various God's N Goddess found during the excavation are kept here.

The museum’s main aim is the collection, preservation, documentation, exhibition of the cultural property and to make them available for educational activities for creating awareness about the glorious past.

When in Gorakhpur do visit this place.

Day 01- Evening Session - Cruising in the Ramgarh Taal - Lake Queen Cruise

Post visit to the Planetarium the authorise took us for a Joy Ride on the Cruise in Ramgarh Taal.

Ramgarh Taal is the largest natural water lake located in the Easter part of UP or Purvanchal.

It's just like the Queen's Necklace Road Marine Drive Mumbai.

Cruising in a Lake was an amazing experience.

The cruise has 3 decks out of which the 2 decks are covered and only top deck is open air..

One can enjoy the city view while crusing.

The Cruise is operating during evening time and offers dinning experience with Live Music and Liquor.

And with this we ended our day 1 in Gorakhpur.

Day 01- Evening Session - Visit to Veer Bahadur Singh Planetarium, Gorakhpur

Post complition of Morning B2B Networking session the authorities took us to local visit of the city.

Veer Bahadur Singh Planetarium Located near the Ramgarh Taal.

The Planetarium is very good and very popular amoung the locals and visitors from the Purvanchal Area (East UP).

There are 3 shows running in from 1PM upto 5PM each show of 40-45 Min.

This place is working as a researcher centre for astronomical events.

Good place for kids and people interested in Astronomy and Astronomical Events

When in Gorakhpur do visit this place.

Day 01- 25th April 2024 - Morning Session- Gorakhpur

Official from today the Uttar Pradesh Travel Mart 2024 started at Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium Gorakhpur.

This complex has a auditorium which can host upto 1000 people at a time and exibition space for exhibitions.

The inauguration of the Mart was done by Shri Avnish Kumar Avasthi - Cheif Advisor to Honb'l CM of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Rajeev Mehra - Chairman IATO, Commission Gorakhpur, Director & Special Secratary - UP Tourism and more dignitaries.

Later the floor was open for B2B Networking and inter exchange of Business..

This was the schedule for Day 1 & Day 2 Morning Session.

With the opening up of Auditorium and Meeting Space Gorakhpur is becoming new destination for Confrences and exhibitions.
