Hello Trekkers!!! Sahyadri trekkers organise monsoon trek to Avchitgad near at Roha on 01/08/2021.
Welcome to Monsoon Trek, Avchitgad.
Avchitgad is a fort located in the Sahyadri ranges of Maharashtra. The fort is situated near Roha in the Raigad district. At the base of this fort is a village called Medha and Padam - Kharapti.
This fort is believed to be built by Shilahar kings and subsequently used by the Nizam of Ahmednagar. The great Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji is also believed to have reconstructed this fort. The work was carried out in a hurry and hence the name 'Avchit' (hurry) 'gad' (fort).

09:30 AM 👉reached base village small break also mini introduction.
10:00 AM 👉start trek.
11:30 AM 👉reached on top start exploring.
01:30 PM 👉start descending by same route.
03:00 PM 👉reach base village start return journey to kalyan.
(Lunch will be done on the way at hotel/ dhaba)
08:00 PM 👉reach kalyan.
Breakfast, lunch & evening tea will be served in hotel while travelling.

👍Travel Kalyan to Nidi base village return travel Kalyan. Approximately 220km return.

❗️Important Rules❗️
1. Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.
2. Avoid expensive ornaments and accessories, if lost management will not be responsible.
3. Not to use deodrants, perfume etc. on trek.
4. Please do not carry handbags or Jholas or Sling bags on treks.
