Nayachar is a place of verdant beauty, you can be at one with nature once you set foot on Katwa: You start your Journey form Katwa Railway Junction 9:00am in the morning - A Toto -’tuktuk’ will take you ona joy ride to the banks of the Ganges, you will reach around 9:15. On reaching you will find the hospitality at Nayachar very homecoming. The boat will be ready for you to ride with waiting fresh Juice to refresh you. As the boat takes you towrads the Swallow (Bird) Nest you get to have your breakfast on the boat (Menue: Bread, Jam/Butter, Egg, Bannana or Luchi+Alu r Dum) As you reach the place you get to notice the beautiful swallows make their way out of the nest to dance infront of you. If you are lucky you might spot one of the most elusive of birds the pied Kingfisher. A pair of these birds have their nest there. You might also spot many egrets and green beeaters on the way. A glass of lemonade will refresh you from the warm condions. The boat moves inbetween some spectacular scenaries. keep your eyes fixed on the horizon you might find black/common pochards flying in flock to sit infront of you. Some Bramhini ducks and grey herons welcome you. Once you have travelled quiet a distance you are deboarded on an island cut off from rest of the world only connected by water. A sandy paradise for 100s and 1000s of birds called the pretincole, they will dance in rythm one of the spectacles to watch. A pair of river lapwing, RedWattled Lapwing, Sand lark, Marshall Sandpiper, Common Sandpiper, Wagtail and many more shall greet you at the island. Seasonal mix brings more to the frey. Now after all the action you will be hungry to the core, The total days meal shall be ready on the boat (Menue: Veg Dal, Mixed veg/Sukto, Panner Sabji/Chicken/Fish, Chatni, Papad, Rasgulla), After having your full of the pure organic food you would love to relax over the boat feeling the cold breeze of the Ganges pass your hair and refreshens you. We stop on another island to see the snakes, where you will be able to inteact and touch them, hold them in their hands. After the adventure with the snakes as the boat seeps accross the vastness of the Ganga you might spot a school of River Dolphins on the way, a true and remarkable spectacle to watch and enjoy. By the tiem you are full of the place you would want to stay back for ever ...but alas! times up and the boat drops you off on the shores, giving an adeu you return back to the railway station to end your Nayachar trip for the Day.
