What is Sustainable Tourism and how Traveltrip India (TTI) is contributing to it?

Sustainable tourism - According to United Nations ““tourism that takes full account of its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment and host communities.”Or in simple words “ if a tourism product involving social ,cultural ,economic and environment has benefits for its community without having negative effects with future balance can be called as a sustainable tourism product.
For Traveltrip India sustainable tourism is a tool for eradicating the negative effects of tourism. We believe in the simple aspect of tourism “ Development without negative effects “. We as a destination management company for India concentrate mainly on the overall growth of all stakeholders of the tourism industry in india.Tourism industry had suffered its worst face during the pandemic time ( 2020 -21). The industry having more than 40 million jobs has fallen to just 27 million. We have seen a massive drop of tourism and hospitality professionals.Most of young and energetic professionals switch their industry only because of unsustainability. Traveltrip India has always been with the local community and stakeholders so we have decided to promote the real tourism profesionals .We have out 80% of products mainly concentrating on homestays , domestic resorts and local stakeholders. From Year 2022, travel trip India has come up with new policies for implementation of sustainable practice in is tourism operations:

80% usage of domestic brands concentrating on Homestays
0% use of plastic in all tours
Paper free operations throughout the process.
Addition of local and domestic activities for direct income to artisans
Promotion of cultural Tours such as Yoga and Ayurveda.
Giving regular training to staff and stakeholders about the need of environmental sustainability.

Tourists rush to Kerala's Munnar as mercury dips below zero

IDUKKI: With the mercury dipping, heavy tourist inflow is being witnessed in Munnar. On the New Year Day, Chituavra, Chenduvara, Mattuppeti, Chokkanad and Vattavada areas recorded -2 degrees celsius. Some of the estates in the area have already witnessed snowfall.
North Indians and foreigners constitute the major chunk of tourists who reach here to enjoy the chill. Most of the hotels and home stays are almost full and heavy tourist rush was spotted at Mattuppety, Eravikulam, Lakshmi, Kundala and Anayirankal areas of Munnar.
For the past several days, Munnar has recorded very low temperatures. On the New Year Day, it recorded a minimum temperature of 1 degree celsius and a maximum of 26 degrees. On Monday, the minimum temperature there was 3 degrees celsius and maximum 25 degrees.

Most of the hotels and home stays are almost full due to the heavy tourist inflow. Munnar is extra cool from January to March and it is the favorite season of tourists.
However, demonetisation has affected the inflow to some extent.
