Our chhotti ~ "This is my second trip with Mzafiri and it's been my immense pleasure to be the part of it again!!
VARKALA- the place where the beach is ornamented with it's marvelous cliffs... Where the blue water, as shinny as pearl touches the soul, taking away all the load releasing you free.. As free as the flow of waves, fearless..
It was absolutely a moment worth capturing. And experiencing that moment or say those two days were tremendous fun with amazing mzafirians whom I met in this trip.
When all artists meet up and the soul connects the vibe is very different. Then just forget about the diversities. We embrace our thoughts which we shared at having a cup of chai and irrespective of all the barriers we just let ourselves flow into the ocean of waves which are unexpected and filled our hearts with pleasure and eyes with hope.
Who knew that a writer, a traveller, a foodie, a sportsman, a beautiful mum of 2 months old baby and a designer would be so inspiring???
I was much overwhelmed meeting these amazing personalities. And isn't this we call the beauty of travelling? The mixed group irrespective of age, gender and the language turned out to be so comfortable that for a moment we forgot that we came from different backgrounds. Not once did I feel that I am an outsider or say a non-malayali. One thing which I learnt is there is no such barrier which can stop us..we are enough for ourselves, who we are, how we are... At the end people will not just remember our smiling faces but also the happiness which we shared with everyone and the vibe which we carry throughout.
I never thought returning from the trip would be so thrilling. Coz none of us felt we were separating our routes.. Sharing postcards, reading letters in the train, laughing n singing we forgot time, space & people sharing our bogie. Mzafiri let me come out of my box n helped me find new people who will stay in my heart forever ❤"

Seemingly mature but craziest of the lot, opens up about his initial thoughts & true experience of Mzafiri's Varkala trip

"When I got an invite to join mzafiri’s trip to Varkala, I was a little perplexed if two inexperienced ladies can pull this all together. Especially handling new people. But honestly I really felt bad for even thinking that way after seeing how well planned the whole trip was. Each and every minute details were perfectly taken care. Hats off to you both. I just had to confirm my participation and then just walk in with my packed bag and move along with the flow. I never thought it would be this fun to travel with a bunch of unknown people. I found this trip as interesting as doing a solo trip or with my travel buddies. We all got along very fast and I ended up making 14 new travel friends who are more crazier and funnier than me. If I get a chance to join these two anytime for their future trips, trust me I will never have a second thought. All the best guys... See more; Stay Young!"

"It was an awesome trip with Mzafiri team. This was my first trip with them, with a bunch of unknown people. But, it finally turned out to be an ever memorable time with a really cool set of fellow travellers. The trip made me go back to the roots with limited luxury and closer to the nature. Kudos to the two super women behind Mzafiri - Navya & Sangamithra. They truly have a great purpose in running Mzafiri and I'd love to be a part of their future trips as well. I would strongly recommend Mazifiri to all the travel enthusiasts who love to explore the places as normal human beings with no baggages and touch their inner souls."

"Unity in diversity.. Well said.. these words have a great meaning to it.. N I got to know about it when I got settled in Kerela, away from Maharashtra, my home, and I never thought that I could survive here.
From bharit bhakri to iddiyapam n puttu.. It was really a great journey.
An opportunity came knocking at my door for the trip to Yellapatty with 10 new beautiful faces.. I didn't know anyone.. I am not much an outgoing person but it was a wonderful chance for me to explore and at the same time to know each other. As it was a women's gang it was much easier for me to mingle with them. I never imagined I could do this trip with people I didn't know apart from my friends & make new bond here... Never seen nature from this close.. Even if I close my eyes today, I can see the view coz it was not only fun but also a meditation to me. At 5 in the morning shivering with cold coming out of my tent & gazing at n' number of stars from the hill... As if I can just expand my hands n catch it...
I have not known that I love stars this much..!!! Until that day... Any one could love it that way.
Never done trekking in my life, but climbing it for 2 hrs was way more than worthy, reaching the destination was fruitful... n that is what I felt.. U can't count on ur happiness.. N ur soul is not happy always. We always have some things or the other going in our mind.. Have u seen ur soul stable??? I felt it just after reaching to the sunrise spot.. Can't explain that feeling in words..
Coming back to our camping spot we had Munnar's best tea!!! N said bye to the people who really took care of us.. N prepared yummy food.. Those two days without my phone was a peace.. N I really enjoyed that me-time.. N tht break was very much needed in the hectic life where u can't even think of what's happening..
I would really really really want to thank everyone for giving such a good memory which I can tell stories of again n again.. From to Yellapatty it was just awesome... If u come out of ur own world n put ur feet into another world u will definitely discover ur self. I found myself.. U will find it too.. Just need to come out of ur home. Coz nature is the best teacher ☺"

"Dear Mzafiri... Lemme first thank you both (Mithra n Navya) for such a wonderful trip. It was indeed one of the best trips of my life.
Munnar always used to be the most preferred destination whenever we plan a trip. The cool climate, the mesmerizing greenery, was all that I knew about Munnar all these years. But this trip made me realize that it is adventurous and soulful too. Travelling in our very own (KSRTC) was really a great experience. Staying in a tent was simply awesome, I guarantee that no ac rooms can give you this feel of being wild. "What would it be like to travel with a group of strangers?" This was the first thought in my mind about the trip. But as Kajol says in .. "kabhi kabhi paraaye bhi apne lagne lagte hai", we all felt like a family.

Aleesha...the vibrant and enthusiastic trip mate made the trip more enjoyable. Last but not the least... I cannot stop without thanking Mithra and Jilby.. without whom I wouldn't have made up to the hilltop and experienced the most memorable moments of my life.

"First of all, thanks to my sister Rajalekshmi for informing me about this trip and her friend Navya too 👭. I didn't know the ladies whom I was going to travel with, but I was very thrilled about the trip and mingling with 12 ladies. experience was really awesome, I had never experienced it before. Yellapetty is a super place and I enjoyed a lot there. The trekking offers a great view of Kolukkumalai and Meesapulimalai from Kottagudi hills. That early morning trekking was gave me amazing sunrise view, I saw sun shine like 'അന്തം വിട്ട കുന്തം പോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്ന അവസ്ഥ'. It purified my soul 😛 The climate there was soo good and cold and so pretty. serves us with good dinner with bbq by the campfire. Our wild desi zumbha dance and sleep in the tent during the night was terrifically awesome. I also enjoyed our night scary songs, laughs while the കോട (mist) entered at 10:30👻 ... Thanks to Charles chettan for yum food and കട്ടൻ ചായ that made us stronger 😜 Happy to meet all wild ladies!"

"Have to say this was my favourite trip. It was a great group of energetic vibrant ladies... Lots of memories were gathered in 2 days. I loved the ride which took the trip to another level... Most memorable moment - the sunrise trekking and the hill top view... donno still how to express. It's beyond words...
Huge hugs to Navya and Mithra for such an initiative... Aleesha and Hitha... thanks a ton for bringing me back to ma bachelor life 😉😉😉 (atleast for two days) and tent stay and ur barbeque were awesome...

There may be many beautiful places than this or adventurous... but this as it’s my 1st trip would always be special to me ..
