Dandeli is located on the banks of River Kali in Uttara Kannada District and 458 kms from Bangalore. It is one of the last patches of pristine forest left in the Western Ghats. The location is surrounded by dense deciduous forests, which is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the world. It is home to several valuable trees, animals and reptile species and over 450 species of birds. This is the only place in Asia where the black panther has been tracked. Dandeli is home to Gowli nomadic shepherds, the Lambanis and Negroid Siddis.

Almost 1/3rd part of the film was shooting in Kerala, the director SS Rajamouli shoot particular water fall sequence for 109 days. As per media sources, the lead roll Prabha’s childhood days till he grows in the film, the film maker involve this magnificent and magical waterfall. The amazing water fall scenes shoot around the waterfall marks its footprints in the movie Bahubali
There are number of Bollywood movies, which were shooting over here including Dil se, Ravan , Guru etc

The New International Terminal-Cochin Airport
See the exciting new model of upcoming CIAL Terminal T2, India's 3rd largest airport terminal facility. With more than 1.6 Million Sqft in size, the terminal is one of the largest in South India and will be the only one to have Pier facility. The structure will be designed in pure Kerala architecture, a model CIAL is famous for with inbuilt sky-lights system.

The new terminal is designed to handle world's largest carrier- A380 with 2 specialized gates for it and a parking space for more than 3000 vehicles.

The works have commenced and scheduled to complete by 2016 last quarter.
