Looking for a trek that will really take your breath away? Look no further than the Hampta Pass and Chandratal Shila trek, one of the most stunning hikes in the Himalayas! With an altitude of 14,100 feet above sea level, this trek covers a distance of approximately 35 kilometers over a period of 5 to 6 days, with a difficulty level that's suitable for experienced trekkers.

Starting from Jobra, the trek takes you through beautiful meadows, dense forests, and rocky terrain before finally crossing the Hampta Pass at an altitude of 14,035 feet. From there, you descend into the desolate and starkly beautiful Spiti Valley, and finally reach Chandratal Lake, with its crystal clear waters and incredible views of the surrounding mountains.

The best time to trek the Hampta Pass and Chandratal Shila trek is from June to September, when the weather is pleasant and the snow has melted enough to make the trail accessible. Keep in mind that the weather in the Himalayas can be unpredictable, so it's always a good idea to be prepared for sudden changes in temperature and precipitation.

Overall, this trek is an incredible way to experience the natural beauty of the Himalayas and challenge yourself along the way. Don't forget to bring a camera, as there will be plenty of breathtaking views to capture!
