Explore Your City provides historically guided tours across Kolkata. My city started off its journey with segregation and exclusion.

From the very initial days of the East India Company and then the Raj , the native black town stood in sharp contrast to the majestic white town where the ruling race dwelled out of reach of the dirty, filthy natives. However blurring the boundaries between them was the Grey Town which was inhabited by a host of diverse communities including the Chinese, the Jews, Armenians, Parsees and others. T

he diversity of my city is reflected in its architecture, the people living here, their equally diverse professions and of course the food. Explore Your City is an initiative to delve into the richness of the heritage of our beloved city Kolkata as we explore its various nooks and corners.

This is to announce that all walks stand cancelled till 15th April keeping the current scenario in mind. So our New Market walk will be rescheduled sometime in late April once the situation improves.
