It all started in the year 1951, when Late Mr. Babulal Newar acquired the Halmira Tea Estate
from Beggos Robert & Co., London. Later, the company spread its wings and procured Sockieting and Dukenhengra Tea Estates from Andrew Yule & Co Ltd. In the year 1990, the corporate’s dynamism and success prompted it to add Socklatinga Tea Estate to its list of acquisitions. Since then, we have been constantly striving to enhance our brand and improve its nutritional properties, fragrance, & taste, by focusing on stringent quality checks and processes.
