ভাবতে পারেন মেঘেদের রাজ্যে ঘুম ভাঙবে, হাত বাড়ালেই আকাশ ছুতে পারবেন, মেঘের গায়ে হাত দেবেন, অবিশ্বাস্য? অবাক হচ্ছেন, অবাক হওয়ার কিছু নেই। কালিম্পং-এর কাছেই আছে একটা অচেনা পাহাড়ি এলাকা নাম লুংচু । লাভা থেকে মাত্র ১২'কিলোমিটার দূরে এই গ্রাম। কোলাখামের ঠিক গায়ে, লুংচুর বিশেষত্বই হল এর নির্জনতা। লুংচু তার অপূর্ব সৌন্দর্য নিয়ে পর্যটকদের স্বাগত জানাতে তৈরি। পরিষ্কার নীল আকাশ দেখলে চোখ জুড়িয়ে যায়। ঝকঝকে নীল আকাশের গায়ে দেখতে পাবেন চকচকে কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘাকে। এখানে নেপালের রাই সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষের বাস। মাত্র ৬০ টি ঘর রয়েছে এই এলাকায়। গাড়ি করে আসতে আসতে পাহাড়ি এলাকার অপূর্ব সৌন্দর্য দেখে মুুগ্ধ হবেন আপনি। এখানে দেখতে পাবেন অজস্র নাম জানা-না জানা পাখি, যেমন ডার্ক সাইডেড ফ্লাই ক্যাচার, রুফাস সিবিয়া, গ্রিন-ব্যাকড টিট ইত্যাদি। পাখির ডাকের সঙ্গে ছাঙ্গে ফলসের জলের শব্দ মিলে মিশে একাকার হয়ে যায়, অদ্ভুত এক পরিবেশ। মন শান্ত হয়ে যায়। প্রকৃতিকে নতুন করে চেনা যায়। এখানে দেখা পাওয়া যায় হলুদ গোলাপি থেকে বিভিন্ন পাহাড়ি ফুলের। যার সৌন্দর্য অপরূপ। অপার নীল আকাশে উন্মুক্ত কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা, কাবরু, পান্ডিম, সিনিয়লচু ইত্যাদি। নিরিবিলিতে প্রকৃতিকে খোঁজার পালা। নির্জিনে একাকী হারিয়ে যাওয়া দুটো দিনের গল্প। সময় এখানে থমকে আছে। ব্যস্ত পৃথিবী থেকে কয়েকটা দিন ছুটি নিয়ে এখানে চলে যাওয়া যায় এক অনন্ত সৌন্দর্যখনির ভেতরে।

★লুংচু থেকে আশেপাশের দর্শনীয় স্থান ------
ছাঙ্গে জলপ্রপাত, গাড়ি ভাড়া করে আপনি লাভা মঠ, লোলেগাঁও হ্যাঙ্গিং ব্রিজ, কোলাখাম, রিশপ, কালিম্পং, ডেলো পার্ক, ক্যাকটাস গার্ডেন, রিষিখোলা নদী, আরিতার এবং মুলখারকা লেকের মতো কাছের জায়গাগুলি ঘুরে দেখতে পারেন। তবে যে সমস্ত ভ্রমণপ্রেমীরা সাইটসিনের দৌড়ঝাপ পছন্দ করেন না, শুধুমাত্র প্রকৃতির নির্জনতাকে উপলব্ধি করতে চান তাদের জন্য সেরা ঠিকানা হবে এই গ্ৰাম।

📍Sittong, Darjeeling Offbeat

Sittong উত্তরবঙ্গের দার্জিলিং জেলায় কার্শিয়াং ব্লকে যে জায়গাগুলি পর্যটনের নজর কেড়েছে তারমধ্যে অন্যতম মনোরম একটি লেপচা গ্রাম। সিটং-এর উচ্চতা মোটামুটি চার হাজার ফুট। কিন্তু ঠান্ডা সে তুলনায় কিছু বেশি। কারণ এটা একটা বৃহৎ ও ছড়ানো উপত্যকা। #দার্জিলিং থেকে ৩৫ কিমি, #কালিম্পং থেকে ৫৪ কিমি এবং NJP থেকে ৬০ কিমি দূরে পাহাড়ের কোলে ছোট ছোট গ্রামে ঘেরা একটি শান্ত আবাস #সিটং। দার্জিলিং-এর কমলালেবুর সিংহভাগই উৎপন্ন হয় সিটং-এই। সিটংয়ের মূল আকর্ষণ কমলালেবু বাগান হলেও এর সৌন্দর্যের স্বাদ পেতে সারা বছরই পর্যটকরা এখানে আসেন। তাই নিরিবিলি পরিবেশে দূষণমুক্ত বাতাসে প্রকৃতির অপার সৌন্দর্য উপভোগ করতে চাইলে আপনাকে অবশ্যই আসতে হবে আমাদের এই সুন্দর কোলাহলমুক্ত হোমস্টেটিতে।

Yesterday after meet& greet with our representative at NJP railway station at 6.30 AM morning they have started for Gangtok & checked in our Associated Hotel Cherry, Arithang Rd. Today was their visit to Tosomgo Lake & Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple & they have returned Gangtok with some fabulous memories. Tomorrow they have a full day Gangtok & outskirts sightseeing trip.
