One needs special shoes for trekking and a special soul for company. A buddy who can be with you in ups and downs, support you, and be ready to handle your tantrum sometimes.
Ananya and Kaustav were together throughout the trek. When the team was reaching Kedartal, the surreal mesmerizing high altitude lake, one of them was about to give up but the other one kept boosting up and they made it to the destination.
Kaustav was nervous and gathering courage to do what's he is planning all the while, of which Ananya is unaware of. It was getting late, trek leader was guiding everyone to start their descent, Kaustav convinced him to give them two minutes. And then he took her to the spot with an excuse of taking pictures. He took her with a surprise when he knelt on his knees with a ring...a surprise any girl will love to have.
Well, she was overwhelmed with emotions and couldn't say much, but she said 'Yes. Later she told that had she been aware of what he is planning, she would have given some better expressions. But natural is the best, isn't it?
Behind the camera, people were hauling, giggling, and happy witnessing such a beautiful gesture at such a special place. And Our trek leader was wondering 'Is this the effect of high altitude and low oxygen?'
It was a special moment at an outstanding location and we are glad to be part of their story. Team Trishul wishes Ananya and Kaustav a wonderful time ahead and good wishes for the new chapter of their lives.
