Scarlet-rumped Trogon from Si Phang Nga , South Thailand, this morning.

This comes on the last day of a short 11.5 day trip spanning across Thailand. It was a quick look at some of the most prominent birding hotspots of North, Central and South Thailand - spending a day or two at most at each location.

Highlights :
Spoon-billed Sandpiper (remarkably close views), Nordmanns Greenshank, Red Knot, Asian Dowitcher.
Hume's Pheasant, Grey Peacock Pheasant, Scaly-breasted and Bar-backed Partridges.
Blue-naped, Mangrove and Malayan Banded Pitta.
Scarlet-rumped and Orange-breasted Trogons.
Broadbills: Banded, Black-and-Yellow, Black-and-Red, Dusky and Green.
Banded, Ruddy, Brown-winged and Rufous-collared Kingfishers.
Hodgson's and Gould's Frogmouth.
Raffles, Chestnut-breasted and Red-billed Malkohas.
19 species of Bulbuls!
Stripe-breasted Woodpecker
Giant Nuthatch
And a bunch of Barbets, Flowerpeckers, Spiderhunters, Sunbirds etc.
