"The national integration video was intended to instill a sense of pride and promote unity amongst Indians, highlighting India's different linguistic communities and societies—India's unity in diversity, so to speak. Mile Sur was telecast for the first time on Independence Day 1988, after the telecast of the Prime Minister’s speech from the ramparts of the Red Fort.
It quickly captivated India, gaining and maintaining near-anthem status ever since."

Kolkata Personified: Spread
The Kolkata Personified team today on the 70th Independence Day was on the streets.... Spreading some love, smiles and hope to the small children... When we look into it as a company we are not any organization dedicated towards these deeds... Today we were only proud Indians spreading the happiness about the sacrifices made by many great leaders and then common man who have played the major role in providing this day to us... We didn't distinguish on any gender, culture cast or others... We were just spreading around love.... India is a secular country and we are her children.... Today we might have reached only a handful of 150 kids but tomorrow we will not be limited by only 150 that's a promise... We love and care.... We work hard but also keep in mind all along the way about the social up liftment... Our company is formed by present day generation young people who have learnt to love, give and care... This is us... We don't just say we are different but we truly show what we actually are.... Special Thanks to Gourav Purakait Nilesh Sarkar Aliv Dutta Sagnik Mariner Bhattacharya and Agnidyuti Dutta for helping us achieve it..
