2 Children's Summer Camps are back to back completed successfully.
Many congratulations to all participating kids!!!

The camps were held at Chota Mangwa, Darjeeling, in May.

Children spent 4 days in this outdoor based camp to learn the basic life skills through adventure activities with fun...

There were 2 camps, according to the age group of the kids. First one consisted of children aged from 5 to 12 and the second one with kids above 12 years. So all children enjoyed at their fullest with same aged friends.

Few glimpses of our last Sandakphu - Phalut- Singalila Pass- Utteray trek...

"Legs on Duty"- a group of senior IT professionals and seasoned trekkers planned to trek singalila pass from the reverse direction... They started their trek from Tumbling fatak and via Sandakphu, Phalut, crossing singlilla pass reached Kalijhar... After that via Achelay their trek ended at Utteray.

This trek was also special as it was a musical journey.... All members were either singer or playing guitar, mouth organ... So, everyday the tiredness of trek washed away in the river of music and a bunch of beautiful memories took place in our hearts.

Organizing trekking programs one after another is our profession. But some treks and teams become very special among them and we got attached to those. Those memories remain long even after the trek ends. That happened to our last Sandakphu-Phalut trek also...

It's a famous, wellknown trek route with the magnificent view of sleeping Buddha, beautiful forest, last 4 km of stiff ascent to Sandakphu, long hike & chilling cold of Phalut, beautiful Gorkhey, silent valley of Samaden, and then Srikhola river to our last stay at Sepi...

But the last trek was not only about these, rather it was a journey and something more.
Here we left the road and took the trail with 21 strong members team of doctors and Pilot. They studied medical sceience in Kasturba Medical college 35 years ago... All are eminent, highly respected in their field across the globe... But most precious is thier celebration of friendship such a nice way choosing a trek...!

Many flew to the homeland just to take part of this... So it became a time travel... Going back to hostel days... Cherishing the memories, leg pulling like the same old time and so on...

As spectare and audience we were very fortunate to spend some time in mountain with such a beautiful minds and persons. Learnt many thing... Some insight of life like "life is all about experience... Beautiful experience", "Place is not that important, more important is people around us and the unique experience!"

We feel very honoured and privileged for this opportunity to organize this trek...

We sincerely express our gratitude to Trek Lead- Pathak, Guide- Nima Sherpa, Bichung, all associate partners for there support...

Lhonak lake outburst & Sikkim flood situation

Current flood like situation in Sikkim is due to Glacial Lake outburst (GLOF) in Lhonak lake. The probable cause of this earthquake in this region.

GLOF is a direct effect of climate change and global warming... Vast glaciers are melting very fast and causing 'Glacier Retreat' ... Large Lakes are forming in places... Outburst may triggered due to water pressure, avalanche, earthquake and cause catastrophic flood in downstream...

Our Co founder, Tiyash visited last year to this Lhonak lake as part of Indian army and Civilian joint expedition... Their basecamp was there, she was beside the lake just one year back. She heard that that lake is moving back fast and chunks of glaciers are broken down randomly. Disaster could be happened at any time. And now the time has come!
