Interesting facts: Gue Village, Lahul spiti.
Gue is a village in the Lahul & Spiti district of the state of Himachal Pradesh in India. The village is about 40 km from the Tabo Monastery, at an altitude of 3000mtr.
Gue is controlled by India but claimed by Zanda County, (Ngari Prefecture, ) Tibet, China.
The village is 10,000 feet above sea level and 500 km away from the state capital, between the towns of Sumdo and Tabo.

This Village is Famous for a Natural Mummy of Gue Monastery.

The village is a few kilometers away from the India-China border where there is the mummy of a late medieval Buddhist monk from Tibet.It is famous for the only naturally mummified body found in our country. The shrunken body belongs to the Lama [monk] Sangha Tenzin sitting in a yogic posture.

There Are Many Unique Destinations in Our Country. Some Villages in the Himalaya Really have many interesting facts.
Kibber is one of the most attractive destinations in the Himalayas. It's a real heaven for Adventure and High Altitude Lovers.
*Kibber is situated in Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh, and has two Parts, Komic and Key. The Komic has the distinction of being the highest motorable village in the world*. The Population of this Village is Only 130, 90 Male and 40 Female (as per 2011census)
The village is known for its scenic mountains, barren splendor and monasteries. Key Monastery, the largest in Spiti Valley is situated close to Kibber.

The main attraction of the town is the Kibber Monastery and Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. The monastery is flanked by paintings, other artworks, and manuscripts. The Sanctuary is renowned for its medicinal plants. Healers use them for these plants to brew remedies for various diseases over centuries.

At altitudes ranging from 3,600m to 6,700 m, the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary spread over a vast 2220 sq km area is by far the largest sanctuary of Himachal which also occupies some of the highest regions of the state. Kibber happens to be the only cold desert.
Kibber is located at 4270 meters, in the picturesque Spiti Valley. There's a wildlife sanctuary, the vegetation in which is said to have therapeutic properties, and you can spot mountain animals like Himalayan wolves, ibex, snow leopards and Tibetan woolly hares.

So Don't Miss the Opportunity to Visit this village in a lifetime if you are a Himalaya Lover or like to explore some Extra Ordinary and Uncommon places.
