kerakerala introduces our new plantation homestay "Himaharsham" located in VAGAMON just 90 klms from Kumarakom , consists of 5 acres of land in midst of tea plantations and is nestled in a perfectly calm and cool environment and it is situated 1200 meter above the sea level. Himaharsham is having 3 bedrooms and an open dining area. Bedrooms are built in traditional style. Here you can relax, refresh and rejuvenate yourself in privacy, in nature’s own lap, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. You also get a taste of typical country side life of Kerala, its traditional cuisine and warm and friendly ways of the villagers.

THANGALPARA
ThangalparaThe distinctive structure of rock positioned in the Thangal hill and is sanctified to the Muslims. Close to the clusters of rock is situated the tomb of Sheikh Fariduddin, an Afghan saint who resided and spend his last days of his life at this point, nearly 800 years back. It is thought that the gigantic rock structure was formerly a minute stone used by the saint to crush beutlenut which grew in abundance.
Pine ForestThe pine valley filled with enchanting tall pine trees makes it a nature-lover's favourite spot. A walk through the misty valley is a beautiful experience especially during monsoon when dewdrops cluster on the pine leaves.

Water fallsAt vagamon there are several waterfalls with grassy hillocks stretching into the forest on one side and ending at the cliff on the other. The steep hill track which provides access to the water fall area is along the ridge and there can be many pavilions along that to enjoy rain, wind, and the infinite view of the hillscapes.
