Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve in Assam recorded highest ever tourists footfall in the financial year 2023-24.

Over 3.27 lakh people visited the Kaziranga National Park in the tourist season 2023-24 and during the same period it generated an all time high revenue collection of over Rs 8 crore.

In 2023-24, a total of 3,27,493 tourists, including 3,13,574 Indian tourists and 13,919 foreign tourists, visited the UNESCO World Heritage Park, setting an all-time record revenue collection of Rs 8,59,48,351.

Apart from the usual Jungle Safari and Elephant Safari, new routes under boat safari for dolphin watching and jeep, cycling circuits in Panpur and Burachapori were made operational this year to enhance visitor experiences and promote eco-tourism in the region.

The Brindavan Gardens is a garden located 12 k.ms from the city of Mysore in the Mandya District of the Indian State of Karnataka. It lies adjoining the Krishnarajasagara Dam which is built across the river Kaveri.The work on laying out this garden was started in the year 1927 and completed in 1932.Visited by close to 2 million tourists per year, the garden is one of the major attractions of Srirangapatna.Sir Mirza Ismail, the Deewan of Mysore, a man with a penchant for gardens, founded the Brindavan Gardens (Krishnaraja Sagar Dam in particular) and built the Cauvery River high-level canal to irrigate 120,000 acres (490 km2) in modern Mandya district.The gardens were designed by German botanist and landscape designer Gustav Hermann Krumbiegel.

The main attraction of the park is the musical fountain in which bursts of water are synchronised to the music of songs. There is also a lake within the garden with boating facilities available for visitors.

 Brindavan Gardens light show timings are from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The timings for Brindavan Gardens light show on weekends are from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
