Dune bashing with the Tata Safari Storme - Evo India

Overlander India was host to a team from Evo Inda Magazine who brought the new Tata Safari Storme to do the Overlander Rural Drive and then test it on the dunes with the Overlander Desert 4x4 Experience. We set a gruelling route for the vehicle to be tested in every capacity. The Evo team spent 2 nights at the Overlander Safari Camp.

An all woman group from Kolkota experienced the unique Overlander India Rural Drive. It was fun filled adventurous morning with visits to homes of different rural communities, sighting of a large herd of black buck, 4x4 off-roading through the soft sands of a dry riverbed and a typically Rajasthani rural lunch! A typical Overlander morning!

Last week, during a Rural Drive, our clients happened to witness an important moment in the life of a shepherd - a doe (female goat) giving birth. An addition to his "family" of goats! You never know what you may come across during our Drives. Truly an Overlander experience!!

This is the new Overlander 4x4 truck which will be modified to seat 15 people comfortably for some serious overlanding. We plan to have fixed departure dates for short 3 night tours in the desert in Rajasthan and in the Rann of Kutch in Gujarat. These will be relatively lower budget tours, ideal for students and young adventurers. African style!!!

We just had our first Day Drive of this season yesterday. The presence of a good monsoon in Rajasthan and water everywhere only added to the adventure. Looking forward to many adventures this season!
