The Annual flower show in Madikeri! Amma went the first day before they could even inaugrate the show 😄 I almost missed it since we were not in town. And then a dear neighbor told me yesterday, "Akka it's been extended till Friday" 😃. So if any of you want to visit, you still have time. So many days and months of planning, digging up records older than me, meeting n number of officials, and after loads of excitement designing, shopping and executing and seeing everything come to fruition, we are extremely delighted to present to you our dream "Welcome To Eorthe."

It took us almost a decade from conception. The logo was designed and registered way back in 2013. We knew there was no hurry. We took it slow, we took it easy and when the time was right everything came together.

This project reinstated my belief that nobody can be totally self made. Somebody cultivates the food that go into your making. Somebody had to invent a kiln to manufacture the cement to build the house you live in. The clothes we wear, the music we listen to, it is all a co-creation.

And just like that, we have so many people to be thankful to. All our kind and lovely guests who kept encouraging us to do better, our mason and helpers who showed up every single day even during heavy downpour, the good cop who helped us through a challenge, the metal fabricators who went the extra mile to stay back till late in the night to make sure we completed the work in time, the patient and meticulous team of electricians who fixed the lighting to our liking....so many so many people. It was like Eorthe conspired with nature to give us the perfect Perch upon which to witness its brilliance.
