Meet the women behind Foodies day out!
mythilypandian an obstetrician and fertility consultant with a passion for food and healthy cooking… She is also the co-founder of Ayyamma samayal… Being in various social forums she is very socially conscious and does a lot of awareness programmes regarding women’s health and wellness!
mukunth Praveena a software engineer turned entrepreneur is our Managing Partner! She is a dancer, foodie, fitness freak and avid traveler! She enjoys going on treks and pushing her limits and sharing food stories from around the world…

We wish you all “Happy Women’s Day”… and for all the women who want to make a mark in life, the world is your oyster! Go out there and be yourself. Create opportunities where none exist. And one day you would’ve made a path uniquely your own!

Foodies day out was founded in 2011, and it was the first exclusive Food tour company in Tamilnadu… in fact all of South India!

What an interesting day! Emmanuelle , Sasha and Felix were such wonderful company, and I got to know a lot about food and travel in UK & Europe…

Meanwhile we were at a restaurant and a couple from Kerala walked up to me and said, “you are from Foodies day out right?”, and I said, “yes”… they said “we have seen all your Youtube videos… we came here because of your recommendation, and the food is sooo good 🤩”

And 5 mins later a mother came up with her daughter saying, “my daughter really wants to talk to you… we have seen all your Youtube videos, in fact we are trying every restaurant that you recommended and thoroughly enjoying it!” They are a family from Bangalore, and they are exploring and trying the food in Madurai… I was stunned and completely humbled.

This is what we always wanted to achieve as foodies, to take our love for food and Madurai across to people from everywhere… and today we are “ beyond happy”!!!

Thanks to all the foodies out there! 🙏🏼 And special thanks to Sujith Bhaktan and family and .sapra whose videos with us went viral! Such a nice way to end our year! ♥️😇

Some days doing a food tour just feels extra special… this was one of those days, with the fully decorated Meenakshi ther behind us, and the full pomp and glory of the Azhagar festival around us.
