Spiti is a cold desert mountain valley located in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated at an altitude of around 3,800 meters above sea level and is surrounded by high mountain ranges including the Himalayas. The valley is known for its rugged landscapes, stark beauty, and unique culture.

Spiti is often referred to as "Little Tibet" because of its strong influence of Tibetan Buddhism and culture. The valley is home to a number of ancient Buddhist monasteries, such as the Ki Monastery, Tabo Monastery, and Dhankar Monastery, which are famous for their architecture, Buddhist art, and religious significance.

Spiti is also a popular destination among adventure seekers and trekkers. The valley offers various trekking routes that take you through the rugged and challenging terrain of the region. The Pin-Parvati trek, Hampta Pass trek, and Chandratal Lake trek are some of the most popular treks in the Spiti valley.

The best time to visit Spiti is from May to September when the weather is mild and the valley is accessible. During the winter months, the region receives heavy snowfall, and most of the valley remains cut off from the rest of the country due to snowbound roads.

2 people from Israel did the trek from Darcha to padum and from there by taxi to Leh.. He got the Itinerary from us... from the way back to Manali he shared his photos with me....Best of luck for the jounrey of a lifetime brother,...
