A peek from mid way trail of Kheer Ganga trek.
From Pulga, the trail starts to a temple and small dhaba at Rudra-Nag waterfall and Nalthan village in between. Beyond Rudra-Nag waterfall, the trail ascends further through thick pine forests to the spiritual site of Kheerganga where Shiva is said to have meditated for 3000 years. The hot springs at Kheerganga are extremely important for Hindu and Sikh pilgrims as well as many others who believe the waters have sacred healing properties.

Hampta pass
Sitting at an altitude of 4250m Hampta pass is a featured corridor between Lahaul's Chandra Valley and the Kullu Valley.
A number of wildflowers and herbs grow at the altitude between 3000 meters to 3800 meters. Vertical rock walls, waterfalls, hanging glaciers, pinewoods, rhododendron forests, open meadows, tiny lakes and peaks rising above 6000 metres are the main highlights of the trek.

Throwback to Bhrigu lake, 7JUN 2021.
As we all know Bhrigu lake is a place where Maharishi Bhrigu sat in deep meditation and it is the only reason why this lake doesn't freezes completely.
However this lake is not the only thing that the trek offers. With multiple scenic views of flowering grasslands and the altitude approximately 4300 metres(14,000 ft.) Bhrigu lake nestles in the PEER PANJAL RANGE and one can practice this trek in the months of July and September at the best.
