Sakrebailu Elephant Camp is on the Shimoga-Thirthahalli Road which houses captive elephants. Sakrebailu is an Eco-tourism center. The elephants in this camp are trained by skilled Mahouts. The camp is located on the banks of River Tunga.

Karnataka State Government has taken the initiative to protect these elephants and let them live in the wilderness. This Eco-tourism center facilitates tourists as well as local people to visit the camp and witness the tuskers in proximity.

Five riders from Mangalore rode down to the camp despite heavy rain and spent some quality time with the elephants!

Kavaledurga Fort is located closer to a town named Thirtahalli in Shimoga District. A group of 9 participants rode down to the fort on their motorcycles from Mangalore. From the Parking point, the participants trekked up the hillock for about three kilometers before reaching the top most point of the fort which ensured some jaw-dropping sights!

Despite the rain and steep ghat roads, the participants covered about 300kms.
