First Day 15hrs 30min.

Beautiful trek in core region of Sahyadri mountains. It was amazing offbeat experience with fellow trekker buddies. Beautiful flowers, stunning views, trekking through dense forest and lastly the fort itself.
Successfully completed Vadgaon-Bhivachi kathi-kudpan-pratapgad range trek.
Upcoming trek on 30th Sept. Na-bhi. Details will be out soon.

Description
Lying on the edge of ghats, to the west of Nimgiri, is the hill of Dev-Daundya, a trek to which could be combined with the former. From the top of Dev-Daundya an excellent view of Bhairavgad on the west, in the Kontan is obtained.The Balaghat mountain range of the Sahyadris cuts across Pune, Nagar and Nashik districts. There are many forts, ghats/passes nested in this range. Nimgiri fort is located opposite to Harishchandragad fort and is known for its rock cut stairs.Nimgiri and Hanumantgad forts have been separated by a cleft and it takes about 4 hours to visit both the forts.

Itinerary

Day 0
11.00PM: We will start our journey from Borivali - JVLR road - End Location there will be few more convenient pickup points on the way. We shall reach the base village Talmachi by 04:00 AM.

Day 1:
Reach base village by morning. Rest for some time.
Wakeup call by 06.00am. Freshen up and have breakfast.
Start trek by 7.30am.Reach top by 9.30am and explore daundya, Bigara and Vetalkhind.
Have packed lunch by 1.00pm.After lunch, trek towards Nimgiri Fort. Reach to the base of the fort by 5.00pm.
Have tea. Have dinner and rest for the day.

Day 2
Wakeup call by 06.00am. Freshen up and have breakfast.
Strat trek by 7.30am to Nimgiri and Hanumantgad forts. Descend down to the village after exploration.
We will have lunch at Talmachi village by 1.00pm.
Leave for Mumbai after lunch. Reach Borivali by 9.00pm.

Cost: RS. 2800/- (booking amount : 1000 Rupees.

Lonavala to Bhimashankar well known as Lo-Bhi range trek (60km) is one of the scenic and high endurance trek in Monsoon.
Last 3 days was full of fun with 12 trekmates and exploring unknown waterfalls with
75th Independence Day celebration was cherry on the cake moment for this trek. 🇮🇳

Harishchandragad Trek via Taramati Naal 9-10 Jan 21.

Amazing trek route enjoyed with trekking buddies. It was a journey mix of walk through jungle, scree hiking, deadly traverse and team motivation. Faced route through slippery rocks and loose stones. after 10hours of trek at required moment, everyone co operated with group decision. This trek motivated to prepare further for many upcoming challenges and trail runs. Looking forward for more adventurous outings. As Sahyadri will get more deadly and more challenging through this summer.

Thanks to all participants and leaders for making this trek success and bringing everyone home safe.

तारामती नळीचा शोध  २०१३ मध्ये अरुण सावंत सर आणि चमूने लावला. भविष्यात सह्याद्री मधल्या अति कठीण श्रेणी मध्ये या नळीची  नोंद होईल . कोकणातील थितबी गावातून बालेकिल्ल्याच्या आणि तारामती शिखर या दोघांच्या मध्ये या नळीने चढाई करावी लागते. या ट्रेक मध्ये १० ते १२ rock climbing patch आहेत व १०० फूट traverse. छोटीशी झलक म्हणून एक व्हिडिओ तुम्हाला दाखवत आहे. 

जानेवारी ९ आणि १० तारखेला तारामती नळीला जात आहे. ट्रेकची संपूर्ण माहिती खालील लिंक मध्ये देत आहे.
