Note – When any Heritage Site, Big Temple or Any Fort, is to be visited then every member should be prepared himself, that there will be minimum 2 to 3 km walk is required for exploring such places. Secondly our tour group is always exploring off beat places. Whenever there is halt at remote places, there is always possibility that at every hotel there may not be any lift facility. At that time it will not be possible that all rooms will be at ground or first floor. Hence at that time the member should be prepared himself for staying at 2nd or 3rd floor rooms, on rotation basis. In other word, no any member will get always ground or first floor room on every time at every place.

A covered well from 250 years ago. Popular memory has it that this well was constructed by Rani Ahilya Devi Holkar. Locally it is known as Ahilyabai’s

Barav or Rani Ahilyadevi’s Barav. The inscription on it, announcing the well as Ahilya Devi’s is of a later date. Located at the Thul Ghat, the old trade route across the Sahayadris connecting the Satana-Khandesh region with the coastal towns of Kalyan-Sopara. This region was under the rulership of Ahilya Devi who had her headquarters at Maheshwar. The well is fully lined and is covered to ensure that the water remains clean always.
