If you are planning to travel to Tadoba or Pench by road on the Samruddhi Mahamarg (also known as the Nagpur-Mumbai Expressway) can be a smooth experience if you keep a few key points in mind: 1.TOLL CHARGES : Be prepared for toll charges & Ensure you have sufficient funds in FASTag for electronic toll payments. 2. FOOD OPTIONS : Remember the express way DOES NOT have any food options where you can stop with family. There are very basic & unhygienic outlets & we don't recommend that for a family. Ensure you eat your breakfast before getting on the highway & also ensure you carry enough food for the road. It's approximately 500 km + travel hence carry food accordingly. 3. REST / WASHROOM: The highway has many rest / stop points. If you are not a regular driver then it is recommended to have pit stop at regular intervals to avoid road hypnosis as it's just a straight road. Washroom facilities are available only on petrol pumps. 4. SPEED LIMIT: Adhere to the speed limits and traffic rules specific to the expressway to ensure safety. It is recommended not to go beyond 100 kmph. 5. WEATHER CONDITIONS; Check the weather forecast before traveling, as heavy rains or fog can affect driving conditions. In summers road is very hot hence recommended to fill nitrogen & do not OVER SPEED. Maintain 80-100 kmph speed. 6. VEHICLE READINESS: Ensure your vehicle is in good condition, with sufficient fuel, and check tire pressure before starting your journey. 7. EMERGENCY CONTACT: Familiarize yourself with emergency contact numbers and services available along the route. 8. NAVIGATION: Use GPS or a reliable navigation app to stay on track and avoid getting lost especially at exits. 9.DOCUMENTS: Carry all necessary documents, including your driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance papers. 10.SAFE TRAVEL: Ensure you have proper sleep before you drive.
