Met one of the most devoted, creative, humble, revolutionary educationaist of modern days, Mr. Nilesh Nimkar- co founder at QUEST.
AmrutYatra convened the Kotak Education Foundation adopted schools teachers visit to QUEST- Quality Education and Support Trust a NGO that works towards quality education through various initiatives also working with the anganwadi's in many districts of Maharashtra.
The teachers saw classroom activities at QUEST's Balbhavan in Deogaon. They appreciated the patience shown by QUEST's Balmitra while teaching the children at their own pace, and felt that they needed to emulate it in their classrooms.
Nilesh Nimkar (Director, QUEST) had a very interesting session with the teachers and discussed the difference between 'to teach' and 'to tell'.

जयपूरचे पर्यटन अनेक जण करतात. पण *अमृतयात्रा सोबत तुम्ही 'जयपूर आणि भोवतालच्या अशा काही अफलातून गोष्टी पाहता, ज्या खुद्द 'राजस्थान टुरिझम' ऑफिसमध्येही माहीत नव्हत्या !!*

जयपूरच्या पर्यटनात कोणीही न दाखवणारं *'बेअरफूट कॉलेज'* तुम्हाला अमृतयात्रासोबत पाहता येतं !

AmrutYatra, pioneer in concept of Inspirational Tourism, organized tour to Jalgaon for a college in Mumbai. As expected the students were not at all excited. They wanted to go to Goa...Delhi....but not to Jalgaon. The professors believed in the students and went ahead with this tours...what followed was an exciting journey.

A special mention of the Professors and Principal who dared to introduce this concept to the students. We want more of such teachers who would do what is important than whats's convenient.

The current youth appears 'insensitive' at first glance, but once introduced to places which make them think, the sensitivity is seen. The need is to introduce these concepts to them in an innovative manner as they don't appreciate to be taught by someone.

One very interesting things that Mrs. K***a Patil shared was that when we travel to visit a place we sitesee and shop and enjoy.
However on this tour with AmrutYatra we enjoyed just as much and also shared our happiness with the children on the projects.

This students visit was on account of understanding the idea, working and development of a social entrepreneurship.

Team AmrutYatra shared their thoughts about the idea of inspirational tourism, the process of designing tours and the human connect that binds this together.
Various aspects like organisational structure, interpersonal skills, understanding the trade, the economics and sense of creativity in a business were also discussed.

Sharda Nagar Educational Campus which houses Agriculture College, Day School, Atal Lab, Girls Hostel and a state of art premise made using most modern technology.

A meet and interaction with the prominent members of the Pawar Family Mrs.Sunanda Tai Pawar, Rohit Pawar and non other than Mr. Sharad Pawar himself.

A beyond expectations experience and pleasure of visiting an Educational Institutions that holds schools, college from agriculture to engineering to management. Students were overwhelmed by the infrastructure, facilities, teaching gadgets and methods which they never imagined would be present in a district level setup.

All students and teachers overwhelmed by the simplicity of the students, staff and people working their who took pride in what they have and yet were humble in their mannerisms.

On 4th August 2018 AmrutYatra along with an enthusiastic group of kishore crazy fans travelled all the way to Khandwa MP to celebrate Kishore Kumars 89th Birthday.

A visit to Kishore Kumar's Smarak and Samadhi and a musical treat by noted music composer Anand Sahasrabuddhe made the day very special....
