Drive to Pangong Lake, after crossing Chang-la (Pass) (17500ft) and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh and perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its color 4 โ€“ 5 times a day.

Leh - Khandrungla Top - Nubra Valley
drive to Nubra Valley. Enroute visit Khardung-la-pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380ft. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive at Hunder, Later visit Diskit Village & enjoy the Camel ride on sand dunes.

Day 06: Nubra Valley โ€“ Leh

Today after breakfast, drive to Leh after following the same route via Khardung-la. At evening explore Leh market for Shopping.

However, Tarsar Marsar is a trek where ๐€๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐‹๐š๐ค๐ž๐ฌ take a life of their own. It is not just the fact that you get to camp beside these royal blue, snow-fed lakes (you donโ€™t get this camping chance even at KGL). Or the ๐’๐ž๐œ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ž๐ ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž of these ๐‚๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ (a Godsend in todayโ€™s trekking scenario!).

You get to circumvent the entire perimeter of ๐“๐š๐ซ๐ฌ๐š๐ซ and ๐’๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐š๐ซ, offering you multiple perspectives of the very same lake!

Then there is the elusive ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ฌ๐š๐ซ, almost always hidden under a shroud of clouds. We see this lake from an overhang, sitting 600 โ€“ 700 ft below. It is a perfect spot to witness the grandeur of the lake, with the sun rising right above it. This is until dollops of clouds waft their way through the U-shaped valley and settle above the lake. The lake disappears from view within seconds!

The ๐“๐š๐ซ๐ฌ๐š๐ซ ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ฌ๐š๐ซ ๐“๐ซ๐ž๐ค takes you right to the heart of Kashmir.
