Wilpattu is one of the beautiful national parks in Sri Lanka. Some roads are filled with sand and surrounded by trees. Green is everywhere. Also wilpattu is know as "Land of Lakes". I took this in the evening and we only had 10 minutes to capture this scene..

Towards Greener Future Through Ocean of Windmills !!

One of the most prized capture of mine from a place called Aralvaymozhi, a small village from the Southern most district on mainland India i.e Kanyakumari, which is also home to India's largest & World's 3rd largest Windfarm known as Muppandal Wind Farms,
Passing through this Windfarm is the rail route from Madurai to Nagercoil and further down south to Kanyakumari, which is an example of green future, with fully electrified network and trains hauled by Electric locomotives which are operated using the electricity that is generated via the wind currents in this particular windfarm, A net 0 carbon emission process which ensures a cleaner world for our future generations,
Seen in the frame is 16340 Nagercoil - Mumbai Express passing through Muppandal Wind farms in Aralvaymozhi adorned by a beautiful morning with Rainbow adding to the beauty
