At Clifton, old world charm reluctantly accommodates the onslaught of modernity. Despite flawless cellphone coverage, a TV in every room and wi-fi access, our attempt is to keep these modern day intruders to the bare minimum. We would much rather you enjoy a lazy afternoon in our garden, go on one of the many wooded walks that we’re fortunate to have convenient access to, or just curl up with a copy of a Jim Corbett or a Ruskin Bond novel from our library.

April 22 to 25

The itinerary

Day 1: Arrival, Yoga nidra, dinner
Day 2: Feel good flow, brekker, forest walk, lunch, Yin yoga, tea, sunset trek, mindfulness meditation.
DAY 3: chair yoga, brekker, jungle stretches, lunch, restorative yoga, tea, de-screen workshop (focused on improving posture, breathing while using phone/laptop) bonfire and dinner
Day 4: Mat and music and ciao

Who should attend

Yin, Restorative and Chair Yoga are open to all levels and highly beneficial to those who move too much as well as those who sit in one place for long hours. (So all of us, eh!)

About Muniza

She is a certified in 250 hours YTT, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga, Buti Yoga, Muay Thai fitness, Aerobic dance and many other formats. She does online sessions every morning Mon-fri. Her sessions are fun, safe, and soulful.

We live in a chaotic and stressful world. With its hectic pace even our holidays are rushed. It's important to take things slow once in a while. Take some down time, breathe in some crisp pollution free air, smell the flowers, gaze at the sky, listen to the forest, go for walks without bothering about the step count, write that poetry or doodle and draw. We believe it's self love and it's therapeutic.

As Clifton 2.0 prepares to welcome new guests we do so with some learnings. The old Bakelite switches that were procured with some effort have to be sadly abandoned for modern piano ones. The moisture appears to render the former unusable.

On the brighter side, our vibrant flowers are bound to cheer you up.
