Our Story
Clichéd as it may sound Kafalia is a home away from home. It is a home. It is a perfect retreat into nature. The cottage is next to an oak forest and amidst terraced farmland, with gentle farm animal to complete the idyllic pastoral settings. When you are done watching the playful frolic of the resident dog (Rani) and the cat (Goonda, he is much subdued now and so does not live up to his name) . You may want to walk around the wooded areas spotting birds, and there are many. Or you could walk down the village path to the river nearby; en route you are bound to have interesting encounters with the village folk or discover an ancient temple that has stories to tell. The crisp air will surely kindle your appetite. You will be served delicious meals made from organic farm fresh produce by the loving family retainers and caretakers—Parvati and Jit Singh.
