Please find below the itinerary for 4*4 Snow Drive Camping Expedition.

Day 1

Arrival at the resort

Tethys Ski Resort, Narkanda, awaits your arrival, followed by check in. Enjoy the rest of the evening with bonfire, music and choice of Bar-b-Q on request at Club Tethys followed by dinner.

Day 2

Narkanda- Pabbar Valley

Breakfast will be followed by briefing for the day. Brace yourselves for a bumpy, snowy drive. You will encounter fallen trees, blocked roads, fresh snowfall at any given time. Pabbar is one of the most beautiful valley in Himachal. At this time of the year, you will witness snow clad Chanshal mountain range peaks around the valley. Pabbar valley is known to be a travellers paradise. Bonfire and delicious food awaits your arrival at Camp Tethys.

Day 3

Pabbar Valley-Chanshal-Pabbar Valley

Post Breakfast today, we drive further into breathtakingly beautiful Chanshal. If you had an adventurous drive yesterday, wait untill you experience today's journey upto Chashal rising above the Pabbar valley. Drive up the steep snow clad roads, finding a different view every now and then. By now you must acquaint yourself to getting stuck in the snow. The world below appears like a painting of streams and brooks laden landscape that runs amuck into forest lands. Overnight at camping ground at Pabbar along with bonfire, music.

Day 4

Pabbar-Daaran Ghati

Today we set off early into the most strenuous drive of our itinerary. The day is the test of your driving skills on snowy, stone laden roads with many steep climbs. But all this is worth the mesmerizing view in store with Hatu Peak on one side and The Great Himalayas on the other. Evening as usual.

Day 5

Daaran Ghati- Kinnaur

Post breakfast we drive further into Kinnaur.

Today we drive along the mighty sutlej river to reach our destination. Overnight stay at guest house in Poo, Kinnaur.

Day 6

Kinnaur to Kaza.

Today our destination is Kaza going past Sumdo check-post from where international border is just minutes away precisely 12 kms. We pay respect at 1000 year old Tabo monastery which is also our lunch stop driving further to Dhankar Gompa, a photographers delight with miles and miles of birds eye view of spiti river and valley. Overnight stay will be at a guest house/home stay at Rangrink.

Day 7

Spiti-Kunzum-Spiti-Lanza and Key Monastery.

Day 7 is going to be quite interesting as today we head for the kunzum pass which is under thick cover of snow for almost 7 months and totally unassailable for all these months. Of course we won't be able to reach the pass at almost 5000 meters, still its going to be a feat in itself even if we are able to be nearby and see jaw dropping snow clad mountain ranges which very few souls have ever managed to see, specially in winters. We do plan to go to the highest motor able village in the world if roads permits including visit to legendary Key monastery. Overnight stay will be at a guest house/home stay at Rangrink.

Day 8

Kaza - Kinnaur

Today we drive back towards Kinnaur. We will stay in a hotel/guest house today with amazing view of snow covered massif in front of us.

Day 9

Kinnaur- Narkanda

What a drive it will be once we are back and not much people can claim to achieve this in winters. We will have a lot to talk once we are back at Tethys and of course a party awaits your arrival at Tethys.

Day 10

Time to head back home with cherished memories of the trip.

ØWe will be using our own kitchen during camping and stay in Pooh. Whereas in spiti dinner and breakfast will be provided by respective home stays and lunch will be juices, dry fruits and fruits carried by us.
