INDIAN AIRPORT LOUNGES - Really Disappointing

I still remember, not to long back when I use to enjoy complimentary Single Malt at Airport Lounge in Delhi. They they started serving Imported scotch. The last time i tried using my lounge access in Delhi, they were serving Red Label, which incidentally is not my taste. So, I picked a glass of beer. Today, Encalm Hospitality, your lounge at Delhi International Airport really disappointed me. I asked them what whiskey you are serving, they say "Antiquity".

Really Surprised !! Where is this lounge culture heading to. A long queue of around 50 lounge pass holders, desperately waiting for they turn. Finally you get to enter after a wait of like 20 mins. Feel like you are in a queue of Free Ration for a flood affected area. You reach a badly managed crowded bar to realize they whiskey served is Antiquity.

Really needs a revamp guys..

This post is for all my frequent flyer friends. Please check these 2 pics.. one which looks neat is my Airline meal and this is the pic of my platter after I finished eating it and the other picture is the meal platter of a co passenger sitting next to me.

We need to understand, ultimately these meal platters are handled by the Cabin Crew and not the robots or machines. Friends, I believe the way we leave the meal platter after eating is the respect we give to the cabin crew. As the basic etiquette, would request everyone to please think about this and lets pledge to make this a habit.

2 hours ride from Ho Chin Minh City and you reach this paradise - Biggest World Class Integrated Resort at Ho Tram Beach. Ho Tram is lesser known destination for Indian Tourists.. surely deserves more visibility. Pristine white sand beach.. beautiful golf course.. amazing huge Casino.. cozy luxurious rooms.. plenty of entertainment.. shopping.. what else can you ask for.. Intercontinental Grand Ho Tram serves everything on a platter.

Thanks Mr Akshay Moza, Mr Craig Douglas & Mr Ian Cording for such a lovely evening.. was amazing to discuss and explore opportunities for Indian Market.. I am sure this place will see more Indian faces in coming times..

This post is for all my friends who don't prefer Air India as a choice of travel.

My latest Air India flight from Birmingham to Delhi was simply a WoW ! Amazing Selection of beverages, delightful meals, perfect comfortable flat bed and what a surprise when they served me a night suit and amenities kit from my fav brand TUMI.. could not have asked for more. I could feel this amazing transformation which is still on the way and can forsee an amazing offering which will be at par with top airlines of the world.. keep it up.

Special Thanks to VisitBritain for bringing on this best experiential trip of my life to United Kingdom

It is so much fun to take your cutest kid on the first Flight. Here are few of the tips, which will surely make life easy..
Tip 1 - PICK A FLIGHT AS PER THE SLEEPING PATTERN OF THE KID - so must of the time your little baby will be sleeping 😴😴😴
Tip 2 - To help your baby adjust to changes in cabin pressure, encourage breastfeeding or feed by using a bottle during takeoff and landing
Tip 3 - Keep distracting your baby by playing or giving him toys
Tip 4 - Book the right seat in advance. Now there can be different right seats for your baby varying from kid to kid. You might need to take your baby in your lap and take in on the walk.. so isle can be better. If he is someone who loves to look outside window - then maybe the window seat
Tip 5 - Ignore the Haters - Lol !! Yes its funny.. just keep calm.. look at your baby and smile.. Have a Safe Flight
