*You think you are all set to give a great presentation - right ?*

*Wrong - you are absolutely unaware of the last, unknown demon breathing on your neck !*

God knows which slide is going to take a toll on you - intro, history, USPs, achievements, success story......? You feel very passionate about this one - and all caution & discipline is thrown to the winds ! With extra dose of Adrenalin in the blood, you just get carried away and forget the watch - just go on and on and on... ! Time is ticking, audience is getting bored, people are twitching their hands, switching sides in their seats, some take to the mobile... all symptoms all around and you notice none !

*It's called Impromptu Talkativeness !*

Result - 80-20 syndrome ! 20% of the slides take 80% of the time & the rest 80% of the slides are some how done with in 20% of the time ! *No wonder important parts - so immaculately prepared for & very, very critical are left out or given a hurried burial !*

How does over-exposure in Social Media Marketing Work ?

A is handing over glass bottles to B. A hands over Bottle-1 to B, B gets hold of it. Then 2nd one, then 3rd. By the time it comes to the 4th one, A has picked up speed. Now he is trying to push 4th, 5th, 6th Glass Bottle into the hands of B which he is not able to cope up with ! Result ? All Glass Bottles start falling down from the hands of B and breaking !

In Social Media Marketing lingo it is called De-Marketing ! For heaven's sake.... no, for your own sake.... stop pushing and paddling sales messages and deals on to the Target client ! There are 20 others like you in the market making the same mistake. Consequently, even your generic product category goes off the target's mind - he gets totally closed to your product / service ! He starts ignoring your messages, totally ! Next step - he blocks you ! And you thought you were aggressively marketing your product ?

Max 1-2 messages per week to the targets - in that too 60% should be relational messages - educational / informative / entertaining messages about your Industry / Product / Service (trends / ideas / experiences, etc) & only 40% Transactional Messages pitching your product / deals / offers, etc. Remember, no Marketer has ever controlled any market for any product / service anywhere in the world - don't even try to do that ! All you can do is read the market and ride it !

A Trained Team is an asset to any organisation - Great Job Princy & Priyanka - well done & keep it up !

After booking Tickets & Hotel, both, client got jittery about news of impending flooding in Goa due to predicted heavy rain - a news that he got from his own sources, apprehending a Complete Washout of his Holiday, in his own words - he was Planning to Cancel the Trip !

We have been Marketing Goa Resorts for 25 years, now - I was surprised about this kind of Rain Prediction in Oct ! Notwithstanding that experience, I immediately called our Goa Resort Manager and asked him to verify the news. He was categorical in that there was No Such Advisory from the Tourism Department or any other government agency - Nor Any Such News in the Local Goan Media. He confirmed that there was No Private Talk also between Resort Owners / Resort Staff or Local Folks. Based on this absolutely unflinching & unequivocal feedback from the destination, I gave a Categorical Assurance to the client to go ahead !

This is the Extra Mile that we are used to going for our clients, day in and day out ! This is what sets us apart from other Travel Agents or Online Selling Machines !
