Kalavantin Durg trek is a unique and thrilling experience. One of the more popular treks of Maharashtra, this trek is known for its challenging terrain Situated at a height of 2,250 ft, the view from the top is nothing short of extraordinary. The Kalavantin fort was primarily used as a watchtower in olden times which makes it an ideal spot to get a birds-eye view of the surroundings. Even though this trek has a reputation of being difficult, this will not be the case if you follow instructions of your trek leaders and take careful precautions.

*About this Event*:
Sandhan Valley, also known as Valley of suspense or Valley of Shadow, is one of the greatest canyons in the splendid setting of Sahyadri Western Ghats. The valley is surrounded by mighty Alang, Madan, and Kulang (Known as the toughest trek in Sahyadri) Ratangad, Ajoba & Kalsubai 5400 ft. the highest peak in Maharashtra mountain ranges. The brilliant and deep narrow rock floored ravine is located between the two high walls of the mountain range. At some places, its width is less than 3 ft and at some places, sun rays are unable to reach the ground. Which gives it the name: Valley of Shadows or Valley of Suspense.

रतनगड म्हणजे सह्याद्रीतील एक दागिनाच जणू . अवघा सह्याद्री ह्या किल्ल्याच्या सभोवताली वेढलेला दिसतो. रतनगड म्हणजे कारवी आणि असंख्य फुलांनी पहुडलेला स्वर्ग . शेजारी कळसुबाई(महाराष्ट्रातील उंच शिखर), अलंग मदन कुलंग (दुर्गत्रिकूट) तसेच सांधणदरी(आशिया खंडातील 2 नंबर क्रमांकाची दरी) पाहायला मिळतात. गडावर गेल्यावर कोकण दरवाजा , त्र्यंबक दरवाजा तसेच राणीमहाल , पाण्याच्या टाक्या , गुहा , नेढे पाहायला मिळतात. रतनवाडी मध्ये ऐतिहासिक असे अमृतेश्वर (हेमाडपंथी मंदिर) पाहायला मिळते. अश्याच खूप ऐतिहासिक गोष्टी अनुभवण्यासाठी वत्ससह्याद्री ट्रेकर्सबरोबर सहभागी व्हा. इच्छुक लोकांनी खालील लिंकवर क्लिक करून संबंधित ग्रुपला जॉईन व्हावे ही नम्र विनंती😍😍😍😍
