In the little suburbs of Palamu, lies The Palamu Fort or The Palamu Kila...
The Palamu Kila are two ruined forts located around 20 kilometres south east of the city of Daltonganj, Jharkhand. The old fort in the plains, which existed even before the Chero dynasty, was built by the King of Raksel dynasty. These are two large forts located deep in the forests of Palamu on Sher Shah Suri path near Daltonganj. The original fort in the plains and the other on an adjoining hill are attributed to the kings of the Chero dynasty. The fort in the plains had defences on three sides and three main gates. The New fort was constructed by Raja Medini Ray. ✨

Plunging from a height of about 45 meters, the Johna Falls are surrounded in a canopy of plush dense trees and thick shrubbery. Situated on the Ranchi-Purulia Highway, the Jonha Falls, is named after the local village. The holy waters of River Ganga and River Raru come together to form these giant roaring falls. It is also known as the Gautamdhara, as there is a temple dedicated to Lord Budha, in its vicinity..The rocks here seem to beckon you down its natural gradient to join the frothy gurgling water of the River. The fall appears relatively more somber, enhancing the picturesque charm of the spot.. .
लगभग 45 मीटर की ऊँचाई से घिरा, जोहना फॉल्स आलीशान घने पेड़ों और घने झाड़ियों की छतरियों में घिरा हुआ है। रांची-पुरुलिया राजमार्ग पर स्थित, जोन्हा जलप्रपात स्थानीय गाँव के नाम पर है। गंगा नदी और रारू नदी का पवित्र जल मिलकर इन विशालकाय गर्जन गिरता है। इसे गौतमधारा के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, क्योंकि इसके आसपास के क्षेत्र में भगवान बुद्ध को समर्पित एक मंदिर है..यहां की चट्टानें नदी के भयंकर दुर्गंध वाले पानी में शामिल होने के लिए आपको अपनी प्राकृतिक ढाल से नीचे की ओर जाती दिखती हैं। गिरावट अपेक्षाकृत अधिक दिखती है, जो इस स्थान के सुरम्य आकर्षण को बढ़ाती है।

RamRekha Dham is the holy place which is about 26 K.M from simdega H.Q. People says during 14 years BANWAS period lord Sri Rama, Mata Sita and Laxman had visited this place and lived here for some time. Some archeological structures like agni kund, charan paduka, sita chulha, gupt ganga etc. shows that during BANWAS period they followed this path. People visited RamRekha Dham to view these archeological structures and temple of lord Rama, Maa Sita, Laxman, Hanumana and Lord Shiva which lies in a bowed cave. Every Year on Kartik Purnima a Mela is organised here. People from different states and of all community come here and pray to GOD for their happiness.
