NATURE OF WORK
1.We refer for daily medical OPDs for PLHAs on FREE OF COST
2.Daily need based counseling services nutritional support.
3.Conduct awareness programs for college students, ,medical & paramedical staff.
4.Develop good linkages with NGOs and GOs and other reputed hospitals.
5.We give complimentary drinks to all the visitors and guests.
6.Out reach worker of the Guruprasad does h
ome visit to the clients who has not turn / drop in for more than 2 months to see him/her , to study the social and family background of the client and help them out.
7.We give financial assistant to the need people who cannot afford traveling or medical expenses.
8.We also assist the client for obtaining the different Govt. Sanjay Ganghi Niradahar yojana etc.)
9.We organized support group meetings in every month at Lanja, Ratnagiri, Sangameshwar talukas. This helps clients to interact to share their problems and to know the basic information regarding the disease.
10.We organized group meeting of all the clients in every 6 months at Ratnagiri centre.
11.We also assist the client in getting job and sustaining the job.
12.We organised pressure group meeting to advocate and to convince the people for reducing stigma and discrimination,
13.We have formed Project Monitory Committee to control and monitor the activities of Guruprasad. The members of committee are from different field and on the prominent post of the respective field.
14.We refer clients for x ray and sonography abdomen –concessional rates
