बड़ी खबर: ऋषिकेश पत्रकार मारपीट मामले में आरोपी सुनील गंजा गिरफ्तार

ऋषिकेश (1 सितम्बर): पुलिस कोतवाली ऋषिकेश द्वारा जारी प्रेस नोट के अनुसार, इंदिरा नगर क्षेत्र में 1 सितंबर को योगेश डिमरी और उनके साथियों के साथ हुई मारपीट की घटना में पुलिस ने तत्परता दिखाते हुए आरोपी सुनील कुमार उर्फ़ सुनील गंजे को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।

इस घटना की सूचना पुलिस को तब मिली जब योगेश डिमरी को एम्स अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया। घटना की जानकारी मिलने पर पुलिस ने योगेश डिमरी और उनके परिचितों से सम्पर्क कर घटना की पूर्ण जानकारी प्राप्त की और उनसे घटना के संबंध में तहरीर देने का अनुरोध किया।

आज सुबह, वादी संदीप भण्डारी, पुत्र दयाल सिंह भण्डारी, निवासी 14 बीघा, थाना मुनि की रेती, जनपद टिहरी गढ़वाल ने कोतवाली ऋषिकेश में इस संबंध में लिखित तहरीर दी। तहरीर के अनुसार, सुनील कुमार ने संदीप भण्डारी पर बेसबॉल के डंडे से जानलेवा हमला किया, जिसमें योगेश डिमरी को गंभीर चोटें आईं। इस आधार पर, सुनील कुमार के खिलाफ कोतवाली ऋषिकेश में मुकदमा संख्या 556/24 धारा 109 (1)/ 352 बीएनएस के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया और उसे तुरंत गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया।

पुलिस इस घटना के सभी पहलुओं की विस्तृत जांच कर रही है और किसी अन्य व्यक्ति की संलिप्तता सामने आने पर उनके खिलाफ भी कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

इसके अलावा, पुलिस द्वारा ऋषिकेश क्षेत्र में शराब तस्करी में लिप्त आरोपियों की भी जांच की जा रही है और जल्द ही सभी आरोपियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
