What a wonderful phrase.

This picture clicked while we were crossing Ali-Bedni bugyal the largest alpine meadows of Uttarakhand. It's lies above to the 12,000 ft ASL. I found this place one of the best hiking destinations in the country. The meadows of Ali - Bedni are key highlights of the Roopkund Trek. When you reach this point of the hike, it takes you to the another level, sit there and enjoy the views.

From these gorgeous meandering meadows one can easily witness the astonishing views of Mt Trishul & Mt Nanda Ghunti, Chaukhamba, neelkanth, kedarnath.

बदरी सदृशं तीर्थ न भूतं न भविष्यति||

महर्षि वेदयास द्वारा लिखित इस श्लोक का अर्थ है कि इस पृथ्वी, स्वर्ग और पाताल में  बहुत सारे तीर्थ है लेकिन बद्रीनाथ धाम  की समानता करने वाला तीर्थ तीनो लोको में न है और भविष्य में न कभी होगा।।
