The Bhrigu Lake trek, apart from the lake itself is known for it's beautiful meadows. The meadows stretch far and wide β almost like an endless carpet.
The Beas Kund Trek is known for it's lush green grasslands that flourish below the summits of the three biggest mountains around Manali. And hidden in these grasslands is the emerald lake out of which the river Beas emerges!
The Hampta Pass is stunning. When you cross the pass, on one side is the lush green valley of Kullu. On the other is the almost arid, stark landscape of Lahaul, with barren mountains and almost no vegetation! This makes it the most dramatic crossover pass!
Interestingly, the base camps for all these treks lie in a 25Km radius from Manali.

Mariamman Teppakulam is a beautiful square tank spread over a huge area of almost 16 acres, located about 4 Kms East of Meenakshi Temple in Madurai City. The tank is the scene of the colourful float festival held in January/February to celebrate the birth anniversary of King Thirumalai Nayak, who built this tank. The deities of Meenakshi and Sundareswarar are placed in a float, called βTeppamβ, decorated with flowers and illuminated with hundred of lights. This float is taken around the tank to the sound of traditional music. On the Northern side of the tank a temple is dedicated to Mariamman , a famous village deity of Tamil Nadu.

Bhrigu Lake is a high altitude glacial lake at the height of 14,100 ft. It is said that a thousand years ago, Maharishi Bhrigu used to meditate near this pristine lake and hence it is named after him. The beauty of the lake is different in every season Trekking distance: 26 KM Maximum altitude:14,000 ft. Electricity: Electricity will be available in Manali campsite. However, there will be no electricity at the campsite on the trek.
