Canada Extends Validity of Interim Work Authorization Letters for International Graduates
Interim work authorization is required for an international graduate to work in Canada while waiting for a decision on their Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
IRCC increases the validity of interim work authorization letters to 180 days from the previous 120 days.
With an interim work authorization letter, an international graduate can begin working in Canada even while they await the grant of a PGWP.
