Recently Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for Sikkim’s inaugural railway station at Rangpo. This will end the long wait of the state and soon we believe tourists will be able to visit Sikkim directly on a train. Most part of the train route from Sevok in West Bengal to Rangpo in Sikkim passes through high mountains. There are numerous tunnels and bridges build on this route to connect the two rail stations.

🕊️ The migratory birds have arrived at Gajaldoba this year like the other years. Their numbers this time are fewer, some experts have been assigning the Sikkim Dam burst a while back as the possible cause.
The number of birds arriving at Gajaldoba this year is said to be close to 6000.
