❌ It cannot be seen during full moon.

✅ It is a natural phenomenon caused due to the sun, and therefore, no one can guarantee the sighting. The closer we are towards solar maximum the probability of seeing the northern lights maximises.

There are few places on this planet that really leave a mark on you, and Iceland is one such place. This is our Iceland Winter Drive, March 2022 that was scheduled from 14-22nd Mar & 25Mar-2nd Apr. The journey includes driving along the South Coast from Reykjanes peninsula to Jokulsarlon, and the Snæfellsness peninsula. It was an intense experience for the group, driving through snow storms, 100kmph winds, near zero visibility situations. Just another normal day in the Lofoten Islands, Norway during winters. We were hit by a massive snow storm and had to wait it out. Cars got stuck due to heavy snowfall and required rescue. We managed to get going 3-4hrs later; after rescue trucks cleared all excess snow that piled up on the road and in between cars. #flytrail #norway #lofotenislands #travel #roadtrip

Our roadtrips are nothing less than an adventure : Ask any of our travel mates, each and every person has a story to tell. Be it frozen towels, getting lost in a jungle, driving through a snow storm, staying in antique properties more than 200 years old, or hiking at midnight to a frozen lake. Adventure is always round the corner.

• Your trip, your time table : While on our summer road-trips in Scandinavian countries, we usually are not stringent with time for sightseeing. Since we have almost 23 hours of daylight, morning or evening; it’s all the same.

• It’s easy to discover hidden places : On our road-trip in Iceland while driving towards Snaefellsness National Park, we stopped for a break and came across this well which was covered by whale skeleton. On the Sognefellet national tourist route in Norway, a 5 minutes toilet break turned into a 1 hour photo session. Why ? A picnic table, a backdrop of blue waters against green mountain forests is not always what you associate with a toilet spot.
