Beautiful day at the highest Lake of India Gurudongmar Lake,Sikkim.

Description: 📍 is located in the Great Himalayas in the Mangan District in Indian state of Sikkim, and considered sacred by Buddhists, Sikhs and Hindus.

How to reach: One can reach Gurudongmar lake by traveling to Gangtok the capital of Sikkim

Day 1 IXB/NJP/Siliguri to Gangtok:
Start from IXB/NJP/Siliguri, proceed to Gangtok (5,410 ft) which is 120 km away and takes 4.5 hours approximately.After reaching Gangtok you need Inner line permit for North Sikkim District.

Day 2 :Gangtok to Lachen
After breakfast start from & drive to (8,838 ft./120 km/6 Hours approximately). Arrive at Lachen by evening. Overnight stay.

Day 3: Gurudongmar lake excursion
Early Morning drive from Lachen to Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 ft./3 hours drive). Return back to hotel for lunch & drive to Lachung (8,910 ft /2 hours drive) Arrive Lachung by evening. Overnight stay.

Day 4: Yumthang Valley Excursion
Early Morning, drive to (11,800 ft. Known as Valley of Flowers). Return back to the hotel for lunch and return back to Gangtok. One can also visit Zero Point which is a major attraction in

Cable Car/Ropeway at Darjeeling.
Opens at around 10 in the morning and closes at around 4 pm.
3 km from the town. Scenic view of Mt Kanchenjunga and Tea Garden
Not recommended if the queue is already too long on your arrival at the counter.
Note: Closed on the 19th of every month for maintenance.
