These brown marble pieces on the Shadharawan of the Ka’bah are known as ‘Musallah Jibreel’. They mark the spot where Jibraeel (عليه السلام) taught the Prophet (ﷺ) how to pray salah following the miraculous night journey to Masjid al-Aqsa. These Eight pieces of marble make up the Musallah Jibreel. The marble is known as 'Mary Stone', one of the rarest types in the world. They were gifted by Caliph Abu Jafar al-Mansur.
