CBK charge sheets 2 accused for duping Hajj aspirants

Srinagar,CNS,31-Mar; Crime Branch Kashmir on Thursday filed a chargesheet against two accused persons in Srinagar for duping Hajj aspirants of Rs 8 lakh on the pretext of organizing Hajj pilgrimage
According to a statement, issued to CNS, CBK filed a Charge-Sheet in case FIR No: 38/2020 U/S 420, 120-B RPC of P/S CBK before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar against Shoiab Ashraf Khan son of Mohd Ashraf Khan of Goal Market Srinagar and Ashiq Hussain Mir son of Mehraj-u-din Mir of Gulab Bagh Zakoora Srinagar (proprietors of A&Y Tour and Travels) for duping, cheating Haj aspirants and grabbing an amount of Rs. 8 lakh fraudulently and dishonestly on the pretext of organizing Haj pilgrimage.

The statement reads that Crime Branch Kashmir, received a written complaint from one Nazir Ahmad Dar alleging therein that one Shoiab Ashraf Khan, proprietor of A&Y Tour and Travels has grabbed an amount of Rs. 8 lakh on the pretext of organizing Haj pilgrimage.
“On receipt of this complaint an enquiry was initiated at Crime Branch Kashmir. The enquiry revealed that the accused Shoiab Ashraf Khan is running Tour & Travel companies under the name and style ‘EDRAAL Tour & Travels’ and ‘A&Y’ at Nigeen and Kangan respectively for Haj and Umrah purposes in partnership with another accused namely Ashiq Hussain Mir,” it reads.

It further reads that the accused induced the complaint and his associates to credit an amount of Rs 8 Lac for managing Haj Pilgrimage for them. “However, after receiving money, the accused persons closed their Tour and Travel office and could not be traced by the complainant, despite his incessant efforts.”
Accordingly case FIR No: 38/2020 U/S 420, 120-B RPC was registered in P/S CBK.
“Investigation established cheating on part of the accused persons and keeping in view the facts and evidence collected during the investigation offences punishable U/S 420 RPC were proved against the accused persons and challan was submitted in the court of law,” it concludes.(CNS)

RAMADAN UMRAH BOOKING

Umrah is a holiest passage of Muslims across to the Makkah. Literally, Umrah means to visit the place which is densely populated. As of the Hajj, the Umrah has immense value and rewards in Islam. For the content of pilgrims, there are many travel agencies who are giving the Umrah packages to them, to take their way ahead to the Makkah, more easily.

The Umrah is placed at a level of spiritual purity for the Muslims. It is neither directly or imperatively, an obligation for the Muslims, but it is a Sunnat-e-muwaqada for them. A holy act which their beloved Prophet, Muhammad PBUH, carried twice in His lifetime. It apparently resembles to the Hajj, which is because, every Hajj is accompanied by a prior Umrah. But it, unlike Hajj, may be performed anytime during the year.

The bounties of the Umrah are enormous, which may easily be traced in the Quran and of course, from the Traditions of the Holy Prophet PBUH. There are many virtues for the ones who perform Hajj or Umrah correctly. It is one of the best deeds as reported by Hazrat Abu Hurairah: the Prophet PBUH was asked about good deeds. He PBUH said, struggle to the utmost which is Jehad. He inquires again that what is next? He PBUH replied: the accepted Hajj and Umrah.

The Prophet PBUH said that, “The accepted hajj has no other reward, except Paradise.”[Bukhari] #1773 The Umrah is known to be an expiation of one’s sins. Hazrat Abu Hurairah, a close companion of the Prophet PBUH, reported a saying of the Prophet PBUH: “An Umrah is expiation for the sins committed between it and the next, and hajj, which is accepted will receive no other reward than Paradise.” [Muslim]. He further reported that Holy Prophet PBUH says that:“Whoever performs hajj/ Umrah to this House (Ka’aba) and does not approach his wife for sexual relations nor commits sins (while performing hajj, Umrah), he will come out as sinless as a newly-born child.” [Bukhari]

According to the saying of Ayesha, the mother of the loyal Muslims: I asked the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him)) “Messenger of Allah is there jihad for women” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Yes, there is jihad upon them, there is no fighting involved in it, Hajj and Umrah.” [Ibn Majah] #3013.

The rituals and blessings of the Umrah are endless for the Muslims. It is, the act which purifies the spirit, the soul of the Muslim. The immense credit of the Umrah, drag the Muslims from the corners of the globe to the Harram. The Umrah packages as offered by the diverse travel firms, are the easiest way today to reach the land of rewards.

*Umrah in the month of RAMADAN*

The Prophet (Pbuh) said that “Performing Umrah in Ramadan is equal to a pilgrimage.” In another version of this Hadith, the two words, “with me”, are added at the end, which means that it is equal to offering the pilgrimage in the company of the Prophet (Pbuh).

Cancellation of Immunization status checks to enter the Two Holy Mosques - Ministry of Hajj and Umrah

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia scrapped the status check of immunization for people entering the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madina, starting Thursday, 10th March 2022. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Pinterest
The Ministry clarified the most important developments in implementing the decision to lift the precautionary measures in the Makkah's Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque in Madina.
The ministry explained that the most important of these developments include canceling prayer permits in the Grand Mosque and permits to visit the Prophet, while continuing to issue permits to perform Umrah and visit the Rawdah in Prophet's Mosque. The ministry also announced canceling the application of social distancing measures in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, and continuing to adhere to wearing a mask while present in the Two Holy Mosques.
The developments also include canceling the requirement to submit a negative result of an approved PCR test for abroad pilgrims, canceling the verification of the Immune status for the visitors of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque for all guests of Rahman. Cancellation of the requirement of Immunization data to get Umrah permit :
Canceling the requirement to register immunization data to obtain an Umrah permit for those coming from Outside the Kingdom, and abolishing the requirement of institutional quarantine and home quarantine for pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom.

In order to prevent spread of Covid-19, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had suspended operations of scheduled international commercial passenger services to/from India with effect from 23rd March 2020 vide circular dated 19.03.2020. Currently, in terms of DGCA’s circular 28.02.2022, suspension of scheduled international commercial passenger services to/from India has been extended till further orders.

After having recognized the increased vaccination coverage across the globe and in consultation with the stakeholders, the Government of India has decided to resume scheduled commercial international passenger services to/from India from 27.03.2022, i.e. start of Summer Schedule 2022. The suspension of scheduled commercial international passenger services to/from India, thus, stands extended till 2359 hrs IST on 26.03.2022 and air bubble arrangements shall accordingly be extended to this extent only.
The international operations shall be subject to strict adherence to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare guidelines for international travel dated 10.02.2022 and as amended from time to time

MAKKAH: The Ministry of Interior has lifted most Precautionary Measures against spread of COVID-19 ahead of Ramadan 2022.

This includes:

Abolishment of Social Distancing and Physical Distancing in all Mosques in the Kingdom including the Two Holy Mosques
Abolishment of Institutional Quarantine and submission of PCR tests for those coming to the Kingdom from outside.
Removal of 10 Day waiting period between Umrah Permits
Lifting of Flight Suspension from 17 countries including Afghanistan, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana , Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique, Malawi, Mauritius, Zambia, Madagascar, Angola, Seychelles, Comoros, Nigeria and Ethiopia
Some Mandatory requirements remain in place such as to appear “Immune” on Tawakalana (Vaccinated against COVID-19) to enter the Two Holy Mosques after obtaining the required permits (Umrah and Prayers in Rawdah only) through Eatmarna or Tawakalana , However children under 5 years of age may be allowed to enter the courtyards of the Two Holy Mosque. By the grace of Allah, as we were committed that the groups for Umrah will board from the month of February 2022 after a long gape of 2 years. Today a group of 40 pilgrims have departed from Srinagar International Airport for Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah under the guidance of Mudasir Ahmad Wani, one of the Registered members of AJKHUTOA.
In the coming days more groups are expected to board for Saudi Arabia which is a big boost and positive move for those pilgrims who are dreaming with curiosity moments and presence before the two precious holy places Makkah and Madinah .
